Resident Evil 5 takes place in Africa and you play Chris Redfield from RE1 as you try to escape.

The player will control Chris Redfield (from Resident Evil 1 & Code Veronica) as he tries to fulfill his mission in
Africa. Chris will also run into a new character to the RE Universe, named Sheva and she is said to play a supporting role
in this new installment. As well as new faces, many favorite faces return. Of the characters confirmed to make an appearance
in Resident Evil 5, Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, Sherry Birkin (last seen in Resident Evil 2), Steve Burnside (last seen in Resident
Evil Code: Veronica) and Albert Wesker.
